Offering Piano Tuition.

CarolHi, my name is Carol Bromley. I am a qualified piano teacher with an A.T.Mus.A qualification. I began teaching the piano privately in 1992. The majority of my teaching is done at my home, however, I do also teach students at the Mount Barker Waldorf School and have accompanied Eurythmy lessons, occasional productions and choir at the school over many years. My accompanying work has also extended to playing the piano with violin and singing students for their examinations, and having the role of Repititeur for 3 musicals staged by the Hills Musical Company in Stirling.

From 2006 to 2012 I taught Kindermusik classes for children 3 months to 6 years old and was able to see first hand, the value of  bringing music into the lives of young children from an early age.

Learning to play the piano requires the development of many abilities such as listening skills, hand and foot co-ordination, eye and hand co-ordination, rhythmic skills, imagination, expression of feelings and moods, concentration, persistence, commitment, to name but a few. It can be not only an enriching and funfilled experience but a path of self development at any stage in one’s life. My aim in teaching students is to nurture each individual and encourage their unfolding, using music as a tool for learning and self expression.
